Dr. Boshra Almoayed, MD, ABPN

Dr. Boshra Almoayed is a board-certified psychiatrist and founder of Feeling Good Medical Center in Dearborn, Michigan. She is a diplomat of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology as well as many other professional organizations.
The doctor was born in Sanaa, Yemen then moved to Saudi Arabia and graduated as one of the top students in Saudi Arabia, earning her a scholarship to medical school. She attended King Abdulaziz University’s College of Medicine, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Dr. Almoayed then moved to the United states to complete her residency at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Washington D.C. She continued pursuing an excellence in higher education by obtaining a fellowship in psychosomatic medicine at Georgetown University Hospital, one of the top universities in the United States. She also holds a diploma in psychotherapy from the American Psychotherapy Association.
Dr. Almoayed practiced psychiatry across the United States while also teaching residents and medical students of various hospitals, including Georgetown University Hospital and the National Institute of Health (NIH). Dr. Almoayed was offered to work at Saad Specialist Hospital in Saudi Arabia where she progressed to take on the head of the department of psychiatry. She moved on to work at King Faisal Specialist Hospital, where she not only worked as a psychiatrist, but also shared her experience and knowledge by teaching students and residents.
Dr. Almoayed became an internationally recognized psychiatrist and has treated VIP patients around the world. She is a world-renowned speaker and is invited to give lectures about mental health and self-development in the United States, Middle East, and Europe regularly. She has also been featured on many broadcasted media channels, both nationally and internationally, where she provided her expertise on a variety of mental health topics.
As a Doctor with over 25 years of experience practicing psychiatry and psychotherapy, Dr. Almoayed strived to give back by supporting many charitable organizations. With the love she has for medicine and her home country, Yemen, Dr. Almoayed founded a non-profit organization, the Yemen Crisis Foundation, where she continues to help bring mental health, and other, services to those in need.
