Dr. Azzam Adhal was born and raised in Aden, Yemen. He graduated from Aden College. He completed his pre-medical education (3 years) at the American University of Beirut, Lebanon. He received his medical degree from the University of Baghdad, Iraq. He was the medical director of Olofi hospital in Hudaydah, Yemen. He completed his post-graduate training in internal medicine at Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Adhal served as the chief of medicine at Bay Medical Center. He served as a member of the Board of Trustees at both local hospitals, Bay Medical center and Gulf Coast Medical Center (HCA) in Panama city, Florida. He is a clinical instructor for Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine. He currently active teaching medical students and nurse practitioner students. He continues to volunteer at the Avicenna Muslim clinic which serves uninsured patients.
